Their Story
In 2018, our co-founders conducted survivor-led research to document the prevalence of sex trafficking in Grand Rapids. Community leaders across sectors were inspired to come to the table and work together to build the systems-change necessary to prevent and disrupt human trafficking in our community. As a result, SEE. and the SEE. Human Trafficking Coalition were born.SEE. is a national leader in human trafficking research. Through the SEE. Human Trafficking Coalition, we build data-driven, community-based partnerships and strategies that improve human trafficking prevention, intervention and aftercare. A future free from human trafficking will require sustainable, systems-level change.
