Real Hope

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

When fear and panic is all around us, it’s important to remember that we are hidden in Christ. That God is our protector. Our hope is found in knowing that He is for us and not against us. We get to spend eternity with Him. We can feel secure in knowing that we know that our true home is in heaven. 

Continue to stir yourself up in faith by reading the Word, worshiping, and being careful how much news you watch.  It’s good to be well-informed but remember the word of God has the final say! Facts are always subject to Truth. We have the Word of God which is our guide for daily living. Through the truth in His word we find our peace in the midst of the storms of life. I have found that there is victory in declaring His promises over our life and into the atmosphere. Just as facts are subject to the power of the truth of His word, so is the visible realm to the invisible. 

His word is inherent. Full of power when released in faith. The Greek word for power in 1 Cor 4:20 is dynamis. The definition of this word can be found in Strong’s Greek Lexicon meaning strength power, ability. The power for performing miracles. Keep yourself built up in faith by abiding in the presence of God and feeding on the word of God.  Being consciously aware of His presence in our life, is one way to keep our faith established in Him and kicking fear to the curb! God’s got you! And because He does, you’ve got this! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. 

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
